School Uniforms

Uniforms can be purchased from Blue Dogs sports directly at their showroom on Pike Street in Laidley. The opening hours will be 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 4:30pm on Fridays.

Dress Code:

The uniform is to be worn neatly and correctly.
Acceptance of enrolment at St Mary's assumes that students will be dressed in the correct school uniform.

GIRLS' UNIFORM

Formal Uniform

Maroon and white check dress
Maroon and white checked over blouse
Maroon shorts/culottes
Short white crew socks that cover the ankle
Plain Black formal shoes/joggers
Official school hat

Sports Uniform

Maroon and Gold Polo Shirt with school emblem, embroidered
Sports Shorts- Maroon with Gold panel up the side
Short, white crew socks that cover the ankle
Plain Black joggers

Prep

Daily uniform- Prep Polo Shirt-Red, Blue, or Green
Maroon Culottes/shorts
White crew socks and black joggers
Official School Hat

Winter

Same as Formal Uniform or Sports Uniform with:

V-neck knitted formal Jumper with School Logo on left side or
Maroon Tracksuit- Maroon and Gold Jacket with School Logo and Maroon Gold Pants
Maroon and Gold Jacket may be worn without pants
Polar fleece vest with embroidered logo may be worn over formal uniform shirt or sports shirt
Girls are permitted to wear a White or Black long sleeve undershirt (round or V-neck) under their formal or sports uniform shirt
Girls are permitted to wear Black or Maroon tights under their culottes or dress during winter

HAIR & MAKEUP

Be neat in appearance and not falling into eyes
Hair past the collar must be tied back
Hair may not be dyed or bleached. NOT ACCEPTABLE for children of primary school age
Trendy, fashion statement hair styles are also NOT ACCEPTABLE e.g. tracks, undercuts, Mohawks, mullets rat's tails that have a large variance between length
Hair accessories should be minimal and must be in colours of maroon or white
Makeup is not appropriate for school and is not to be worn

JEWELLERY

Jewellery is not permitted to be worn at school
Exceptions:- Watches, medical bracelet, one pair of round studs or plain sleepers (No beads attached to sleepers or studs no bigger than 5mm), one chain with crucifix or Christian symbol and one signet ring
Only one earring in each ear is permitted
Fingernails kept clean and clipped to the top of the finger. No coloured nail polish or acrylic nails

SHOES & SOCKS

Black Joggers- completely black no coloured markings or laces
Velcro or lace up are acceptable
Slide on styles are NOT acceptable

Plain white crew socks which cover the ankle- no frills, brand names or markings, no socks which sit below the ankle
